ADHD 2023 - Congress Programme

3 WELCOME ADDRESS Dear Colleagues, We are very happy to finally be able to see many of you in person after too many virtual meetings. At the 9 th World Congress of ADHD, we will celebrate our shared vision of improving the lot of people with ADHD around the world. Amsterdam is an ideal venue with its remarkable architecture, art and historical venues. The program has been designed to present up-to-date information that will promote the evidence-based management of ADHD in youth and adults. We provide many formats to optimize your experience. In addition to traditional symposia and poster sessions, you will benefit from educational seminars, a grand round about ADHD in older adults, a pro-con debate about use of medication for preschool children, late breaking news and meet the experts sessions. Because the theme of the Congress is “Modernizing ADHD”, we include session focusing on novel research directions (e.g., ADHD and dementia, resilience, wellbeing, strengths of ADHD, somatic comor- bidities) and innovative clinical approaches (e.g., neuro-mechanistic and digital therapies). We also include the perspective of those with a lived experience of ADHD. You will learn about recent developments in measurement-based care along with current efforts to improve and create guidelines for managing ADHD in adults. At the World Congress on ADHD you will learn from world class researchers and clinicians and share and exchange experiences with your colleagues from around the world. We look forward to seeing you! Sincerely yours, Stephen Faraone Manfred Gerlach Stephen Faraone Congress President President WFADHD Luis A.
