44 Olympia Park The Olympia Park was constructed for the Olympic Games in 1972 and is located in the north of Munich. It has been an inherent part of Munich ever since, not only for sport events but also as a recreation area. Besides the sport events it is used for events of different kinds, such as cultural, social or religion.
