10 Keynote Speakers e Saul Suster (USA) Dr. Suster started his training in anatomic pathology in 1979 at the Sheba Medical Center of the University of Tel-Aviv Sackler School of Medicine, Tel-Aviv, Israel. In 1984, he im- migrated to the United States to continue his training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami under Dr. Arkadi M. Rywlin. He then did a 2-year fellowship in research and surgical pathology at the Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, under the supervision of Dr. Juan Rosai. In 1990, he joined the staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami where he served as Director of Surgical Pathol- ogy and was appointed Clinical Professor of Pathology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In 1998, Dr. Suster was recruited to head the Division of Anatomic Pathology at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH, and in 2007, he was appointed Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Suster is the author of nearly 400 publications, 40 book chapters and 6 books. He has served as a member of the edi- torial board in several of the main pathology journals and as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Diagnostic Pathology. Dr. Suster is a frequent guest speaker at major national and inter- national meetings and has served as course director for many subspecialty workshops. Dr. Suster’s work has centered on the pathology of tumours of the lung, pleura, and mediasti- num, as well as tumours of soft tissue, skin, and thyroid. Dr. Suster retired from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2021 and was granted the status of Professor and Chairman Emeritus. He currently resides in New Jersey, USA, and ser- ves as a Senior Consultant for the Pathology Department at the Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. Saul Suster
