ECP 2023 | Preliminary Programme

16 Further Sessions e Computational Symposium The Computational Symposium presents key speakers from both academia and industry to inform about and discuss developments in the application of AI to histo- pathology . We specifically welcome all stakeholders that are involved in the development, validation and adoption of Computa- tional Pathology to facilitate interactions in the broadest possible manner: pathologists, (AI-)scientists, technicians and lab managers from hospitals, academia and industry. The CP SY will be organised in conjunction with the ECP in 2023 for the eighth time. Panel discussions and demonstrations may be part of the programme in addition to invited speakers and submitted talks. Organisers of the symposium: e Inti Zlobec, Switzerland (Digital and Computational Pathology WG Chair) e António Polónia Oliveira, Portugal (Digital and Computational Pathology WG Co-Chair) e Nasir Rajpoot, United Kingdom e Darren Treanor, United Kingdom e Geert Litjens, The Netherlands e One-Day Symposium on Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Translational Research We are pleased to invite you to the ninth “Symposium on Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Translational Research”. Our programme for 2023 includes molecular approaches with clinical applications in oncology as well as newest developments of modern technologies and the analysis of biomarkers. The major goals for scientists working together with pathologists and clinicians in the field are to provide high quality molecular diagnostics, but at the same time to translate basic research discoveries into clinical practice. The symposium will address and discuss current advan- ces, but also challenges and problem-solving approaches in the field of molecular pathology. Not only molecular biologists, but also pathologists and other participants are more than welcome to join this symposium! Get the latest insights in precision medicine and how they directly im- pact testing and treatment decisions. The symposium will cover the following topics: e Selected abstracts e Update organ specific biomarker analysis e Evaluation and reporting of complex biomarkers with big panels e News from the bench and future developments Organisers of the symposium: e Johan Botling, Sweden e Erik Jan Dubbink, The Netherlands e Stephen Finn, Ireland e Carina Heydt, Germany e Gerald Höfler, Austria e Caterina Marchio, Italy e Matthias Matter, Switzerland e Sabine Merkelbach-Bruse, Germany Further information will also be available online at www.esp-congress.org . virtual and on-site
