24 e Air travel to Dublin Dublin Airport is located approximately 10 km north of Dublin City Centre. You can travel directly from Dublin Airport to central locations by the Dublin Express: www.dublinexpress.ie . You can also reach the city center and Convention Cen- tre Dublin (CCD) by taxi. The estimated cost is between EUR 25 – 30. e Travel to Dublin by Train and Ferry By ferry you can reach Dublin from Douglas, Isle of Man (UK), Holyhead, Wales (UK), Liverpool, England (UK) and Cherbourg, France. A train and ferry ticket combination offers a cost effective and convenient method of travelling between the UK and Ireland. e How to get around Thanks to its compact size, many of the city's outlying districts are easy to explore on foot. Besides this, Dublin's modern public transportation sys- tem encompasses a large network of trams and buses, which allows visitors to get around quickly and comfort- ably in the city. ECP delegates can make use of their "Leap Card" (incl. in the registration fee). The Leap Card is a reloadable smart- card that can be used for individual journeys using travel credit on the train, tram, bus or to rent a Dublin Bike. In addition, the Dublin Express (coach service) offers an efficient way to get from the airport to the city centre of Dublin. The journey only takes around 20 minutes. e How to get to the Congress Center By bus The bus system offers a high frequency service across all of the city of Dublin. Many bus lines stop directly at the CCD (stop: Convention Centre). By tram Two tram lines (Green Line and Red Line) run through Dublin. The closest stops to the Convention Centre are "Mayor Square " or "Spencer Dock" (Red Line). e Hotels in Dublin CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH has reserved a large number of hotel rooms in various hotels in different price categories in Dublin. The majority of the hotel rooms are located close to the CCD or within 2 – 3 stops on the local transport system in the City Centre. Please note that many exhibitions and events take place in Dublin in early September and hotel availability is thus somewhat limited.
