ECP 2021 Preliminary Programme

10 ECP 2021 · Virtual Congress Further Sessions e ONE-DAY COMPUTATIONAL PATHOLOGY SYMPOSIUM (CP) The Computational Pathology Symposium will be orga- nized in conjunction with the ECP in 2021 for the sixth time. Previous versions attracted an audience consisting of pathologists, scientists and technicians from hospitals, academia and industry. The symposium aims to be a fo- rum for discussion and exchange of knowledge in the area of computational pathology. We bring together key speakers from both academia and industry to facilitate such interaction in the broadest possible manner. Top- ics of interest are algorithm development and validation, regulatory and usability issues, and clinical value. Panel discussions and demonstrations may be part of the pro- gram in addition to invited speakers and submitted talks. This year, for the second time, we will hand out a 'best paper award' to the highest ranking submitted abstract. The symposium is organized by Jeroen van der Laak, Dar- ren Treanor, Nasir Rajpoot, and Geert Litjens. Further information will soon be available online at www.esp-congress.org. e ONE-DAY SYMPOSIUM ON MOLECULAR PATHOLOGY DIAGNOSTICS AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH We are pleased to invite you for the seventh time to the “Symposium on Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Translational Research” . Our programme for 2021 includes molecular approaches with clinical applications in oncology as well as newest developments of modern technologies like parallel sequencing and the analysis of new biomarkers. The major goals for scientists working together with pathologists and clinicians in the field are to provide high- quality molecular diagnostics but at the same time to translate basic research discoveries into clinical practice. The symposium will address and discuss current advances but also challenges and problem-solving approaches in the field of molecular pathology. Not only molecular biologists but also pathologists and other participants are more than welcome to join this symposium! Get the latest insights in precision medicine and how they directly impact testing and treatment decisions. The symposium will cover the following topics: e Pan-cancer strategies for solid tumour diagnostics (Joint Session with WG Molecular Pathology) e Tumour agnostic approaches e Integrative diagnostics and IT solutions There will be an additional Joint Session with the WG Molecular Pathology in the main programme dealing with the new IVD regulations. Organisers: e Prof. Johan Botling , Department of Immunology Genetics and Pathology, Rudbeck Laboratory Uppsala University Hospital, Uppsala, Sweden e Dr. Erik Jan Dubbink , Department of Pathology, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands e Prof. Dr. Sabine Merkelbach-Bruse , Institute of Pathology, University Hospital Cologne, Germany e Dr. Bastian Tops , Diagnostic Laboratory, Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology, Utrecht, the Netherlands Further information will also be available online at www.esp-congress.org . e REGISTRATION FEES (for ECP delegates the symposia are included in the registration fee) Registration and payment received by 1 July 2021 EUR after 1 July 2021 EUR Computational Pathology Symposium (29 August 2021) 110,00 140,00 One-Day Molecular Pathology Diagnostics Symposium (30 August 2021) 110,00 140,00
