ECP 2023 Dublin e Invitation Letter The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal invitation letter to delegates requesting a respective docu- ment for visa purposes. You can apply for an invitation let- ter online during the registration process. The letter will be sent as an e-mail attachment. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commit- ment from the congress to provide any financial support. e Visa The entry formalities for Ireland vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local consulate of Ireland in the home country. More information can be found at https://www.dfa.ie/travel/visas/visas-for-ireland/ . e Insurance The congress fee does not include insurance. All partici- pants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is recommended and has to be pur- chased in your country of origin. e Currency The official currency of Ireland is Euro (€). Congress payments will be accepted only in Euro. e Climate in Dublin Dublin has a maritime climate. The day-time temperature in early September ranges between 10 and 17°C. Rain is possible. e City of Dublin Dublin is more than just a great conference location. Com- bining a solid reputation for education and innovation, with great accessibility, it is no coincidence that Dublin is now the European headquarters of many of the world’s leading corporations, and a centre for academic research and innovation. As the home to many of the world’s top ICT (Information and Communications Technology), Financial and Pharmaceutical corporations, it is a serious place to do business. Yet, Dublin has not forgotten its roots and is steeped in a rich cultural heritage that begs to be explored. All year round, the city is alive with music, art and theatre of all kinds and, of course, art galleries and museums abound.
